PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Marketing Consultant (Experience and Content Specialist) will play a crucial role in driving strategically aligned events, compelling content creation, and impactful design across the Hyperclear Technologies group. This role is responsible for planning and executing high-value marketing events, crafting engaging marketing copy and sales enablement material, and developing visually compelling designs in line with brand guidelines.
A critical component of this role is managing the handover process between Marketing and Sales/Demand — ensuring that event attendees are nurtured into leads, prospects, and opportunities. This cross-functional role requires strategic thinking, creative execution, and seamless collaboration with sales, demand generation, and marketing team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategic Event Planning & Execution (30%)
- Own the end-to-end event planning and execution process, collaborating with senior team members on strategy while leading the execution independently.
- Develop event briefs, define objectives and KPIs, and ensure alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Manage event logistics, stakeholder coordination, attendee engagement strategy, and post-event reporting.
- Oversee the handover process from event marketing to sales, ensuring prospects are tracked and managed effectively.
- Plan, promote, and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, including partner events.
- Track event metrics (registrations, attendance, drop-off rates, lead generation impact, and attendee NPS scores) and optimise strategies accordingly.
2. Content Creation and Copywriting (30%)
- Craft compelling marketing copy for event invitations, landing pages, social media, email campaigns, and blog content.
- Develop sales enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, whitepapers, and brochures.
- Research and write industry-relevant thought leadership articles, e-books, and blog posts (technology and B2B focus preferred).
- Optimise content for SEO, audience engagement, and lead conversion.
- Work collaboratively with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop insightful and high-value content.
3. Graphic Design and Visual Branding (30%)
- Independently design marketing assets (event collateral, digital and print materials, PowerPoint templates, and branding elements).
- Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
- Manage the production process for printed materials, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with print specifications.
- Collaborate with external designers/agencies if required for larger projects.
- Lead the development of presentation templates and internal documentation to maintain brand consistency.
4. Campaign Execution and Cross-Team Collaboration (10%)
- Support marketing campaign execution across events, digital marketing, and content marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with Demand Generation and Sales teams to ensure alignment on lead generation, handover processes, and post-event engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Lead to ensure content and event marketing strategies are optimised for online engagement.
- Maintain structured tracking and reporting processes to evaluate campaign and content effectiveness.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally in a B2B technology-driven industry. Additional B2C experience/exposure is advantageous.
- Strong background in event marketing, content creation, and graphic design.
- Experience working on multi-channel campaigns, integrating events, digital marketing, and sales enablement.
- Experience in marketing automation, CRM platforms, and lead-tracking tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and writing for SEO is a plus.
Technical and Creative Skills:
- Event Planning and Management: Experience in both virtual and in-person events (ranging from intimate partner engagements to mid-size corporate events with up to 250 attendees).
- Copywriting and Content Development: Ability to create persuasive, engaging, and technically sound content tailored for B2B audiences.
- Graphic Design: Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) with portfolio examples.
- Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to track event ROI, lead conversion metrics, and content performance to drive strategic improvements.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Must be highly collaborative, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Demand Generation, and Leadership Teams.
- Ability to work autonomously, taking full ownership of assigned projects while integrating with the broader team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audience personas.
