JOB PURPOSE

The Marketing Execution Lead serves as the '2IC' to the Group Marketing Manager, playing a critical role in the development of messaging for brands, products, and services across the Hyperclear Technologies group. This position is responsible for driving the successful execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans and overseeing the day-to-day management of marketing campaigns, projects, activities, events, and tactics. The Marketing Execution Lead will mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring the seamless delivery of marketing activities across the value chain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic and Tactical Planning Support:

    • Contribute to the strategic planning process, assisting the Group Marketing Manager with developing comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and key results.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing plans are effectively integrated into broader business goals.

    Messaging Development:

    • Work closely with the Group Marketing Manager to refine and enhance messaging for brands, products, and services.
    • Ensure consistent and impactful communication across all marketing channels, maintaining brand integrity.

    Content Marketing and Creation:

    • Guide and oversee the development of long- and short-format content, ensuring alignment with brand voice, objectives, and audience preferences.
    • Mentor and guide team members to produce content aligned with the content plan and strategy, providing quality assurance of content created across the team.

    Design and Layout:

    • Design and layout of content items such as blog pages, social media images, presentations, and proposals, maintaining brand consistency and visual appeal.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create visually compelling sales enablement collateral.
    • Utilise design tools and templates to produce high-quality materials that resonate with target audiences.
    • Mentor and guide the design efforts of other team members to ensure the creation of on-brand designs.

    Campaign and Project Management:

    • Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
    • Oversee the coordination of marketing activities, including content creation, digital marketing, events, and other marketing activities.
    • Work with the Group Marketing Manager to manage resource allocation, ensuring that all team members are effectively utilised and that projects run smoothly.
    • Monitor campaign performance, provide insights, and recommend refinements to optimise results.

    Sales Enablement Support:

    • Lead the creation of sales enablement collateral, including proposals, sales presentations, and supporting materials.
    • Identify and address content gaps to facilitate the sales process and drive conversion.

    Social Media Content Creation and Management:

    • Lead the development of engaging social media content, overseeing content calendars and campaigns.
    • Monitor social media trends, analyse audience engagement, and provide recommendations for content optimisation.
    • Mentor and guide other team members, providing peer reviews and quality assurance of content created.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Review marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
    • Support compliance efforts and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
    • Lead quality assurance and peer review step before content submission for final approval.

    Performance Tracking and Reporting:

    • Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns and projects, analysing key metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present regular reports to the Group Marketing Manager, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

    Relationship Management and Team Mentorship:

    • Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and partners.
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing objectives.
    • Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting their professional development and growth.
    • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and collaboration.

    Commercial Understanding:

    • Support budget management and allocation, identifying opportunities for optimisation to maximise ROI.
    • Ensure strategic alignment of marketing initiatives with organisational priorities and goals.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
    • Additional relevant certifications are advantageous.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on campaign execution, project management, and team leadership.
    • Previous B2B experience, preferably in the technology industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex marketing projects.
    • Experience in mentoring and leading junior marketing professionals.
    • A good understanding of the technology industry.
    • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics and CMS websites.
    • Basic understanding of SEO best practices and writing for SEO advantageous.
    • Experience with online, hybrid, and in-person event planning, management and execution.

    Skills:

    • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
    • Ability to mentor and guide team members in all areas of the marketing value chain.
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote / hybrid environment and a demonstrated proactive desire to learn.
    • Exceptional project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
